Established St Patrick's day in 1973, Corby Irish Centre is a social centre which promotes Irish Heritage and Culture.
Activities include:
Irish dancing
A Gaelic football team
A cairde eireann group for the elder members. We also have a group called young at heart also for the senior members of the club which takes place on Wednesday afternoons. We have a very active bar with pool, darts, live music (once a month) and friendly faces
We have quiz nights on Sundays in the lounge and live Irish music in the hall on Sundays nights with Chances to win cash prizes with open the box and the mini tote, Other prizes with raffles and yes we have it! The big one BINGO!
We don't forget the mini members (children) as we have a disco on a Sunday lunch with bingo and good pay outs.
New this year to the club we have a physic night and a comedy hypnotist night as well as top Irish acts.
And on St Patrick's day we have 4 different bands in our club, two in the bar and two in the hall over the whole day.
